Welcome to my commission guidelines! This serves to answer any and all questions or concerns you may have. Thanks for reading!

I, The42UR3Genes, the artist, may change the guidelines/terms and conditions of my art commissions at any time without warning, but the new changes will not apply to previous and pending commissions at the time of the update, only future.

I reserve rights over the commissioned piece throughout the process of creation and thereafter. This means I have the right to upload the piece on social media and share it with others and make merchandise of the work if I choose.

COMMISSION DETAILS

I am able to draw the following:

• OCs
• animals (feral or anthro)
• chibis
• pattern and simple scene backgrounds

I will not draw the following:

• any hateful material/political
• gore
• mecha
• complicated/super detailed
• sexually explicit material
• harmful paraphilias

PROCESS & DELIVERY

• Payment -> Sketch -> Approval -> Background -> Approval -> Lineart -> Base Coloring -> Approval -> Rendering -> Sending of Commission
• Turnaround time is at maximum two weeks from the start of work. I will notify you once work has started.
• If you do not respond to messages or status updates for longer than a week I will inform you that work will be paused. If you want work to resume please contact me requesting so.
• All customers will receive a digital artwork, which will only come as an HD image file, not a print, unless stated otherwise.
• You will receive progress photos whilst work is in progress for approval.
• You can request two major revisions at the sketching phase, but cannot request changes after the lineart phase has began.

PAYMENT, REFUNDS AND DECLINES

• Payment for 2D illustrations is 100% upfront through Ko-fi only.
• If you choose to change the size, amount of characters, etc. after payment, there may be an adjustment of price to fit the value of your commission. You’ll be required to pay the difference in order to receive your commission.
• All prices listed here are in United States dollar (USD) and payments should be in USD or equal to the USD amount.
• I hold the right to decline drawing something if I’m not comfortable drawing it. If such a thing occurs after you’ve already paid, I can provide a refund. If you happen to send the wrong amount of money, I will refund it and pause the commission process until the correct amount is received.
• If you cancel the commission prior to sketching you will be refunded. Refunds will not be issued after the sketch approval.
• If I cannot complete the commission, a refund will be provided to you. The payment will be sent back personally by me and not by chargeback.
• If an unsolicited chargeback occurs I have the right to retract all rights you have to the commission and inform the public.

RIGHTS & USAGE

• The feeding of my work to any Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs, services, and learning algorithms is strictly prohibited and not allowed under any circumstance. If I find out this rule was violated you will be blocked on every social I have. I also have the right to inform the public if a violation of this rule occurs.
• The use of the commissioned artwork in Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrencies, and anything related is also strictly prohibited.
• You can use the commisioned art in social profiles or non-profit websites as long as my socials are linked.
• You cannot submit the work to any kind of online or offline competitions.
• I have the right to cancel or deny a commission due to personal reasons, poor communication, inappropriate behavior, a breach of these Terms of Service, or for any other reason that is unspecified here.
• I maintain the rights to the commissioned art and may display it unless specifically requested not to. Characters and established intellectual properties (IPs) belong to their respective owners.
• You may not remove my watermark, add your own watermark, trace, alter, edit, or claim my art as your own.
• You may not profit from my art or use it commercially. The commissioned artwork is for personal use only.
• I have the right to retract all rights you have to the commission and inform the public if these rules are violated.

Once I start drawing the commission, you thereby agree to these terms!
